Matt Smith, Sebastian Stan, William Shatner, Bruce Campbell Q&As Highlight Programming At Wizard World Austin

William Shatner Speaks To A Huge Crowd At Wizard World Comic ConQ&A sessions with “Doctor Who” star Matt Smith , Captain America standout Sebastian Stan, William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Bruce Campbell ( The Evil Dead), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn), and Jeremy Shada (Voice actor - “Adventure Time with Finn & Jake,” “Team America: World Police”), costume contests, comics-themed sessions, screenings, gaming and more are among the programming highlights at Wizard World Comic Con Austin, Thursday through Sunday, September 23-25, at the Austin Convention Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission.

 Some highlights of the more than 80 panels scheduled include: 

  • Interactive Q&As with Smith (Saturday, noon); Stan (Saturday, 11 a.m.); Shatner (Saturday, 2 p.m.); Campbell (Saturday, 4 p.m.); Trejo (Saturday, 3 p.m.); Marsters (Saturday, 1 p.m.); Fast Times at Ridgemont High ’s Judge Reinhold (Saturday, 5:15 p.m.); Ted’s Sam Jones (Sunday, 1:30 p.m.); “Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s” Nicholas Brendon (Sunday, 2:30 p.m.);

  • “In the Ring” with WWE® Superstars Becky Lynch™ (Friday, 7:30 p.m.) and Big Show™ (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.)

  • Sessions featuring superstar creators “He-Man’s” Tom Cook (Saturday, 11:30 am.); Katrina Hill and Alex Langley (“100 Great Graphic Novels: The Good, the Bad, the Epic”), Victor Dandridge (“The Samaritan”), Tom DeFalco (former Marvel editor-in-chief), Dean Haspiel (“Batman”), Clinton Hobart (licensed Disney Fine Artist),  and Dr. Travis Langley (Saturday, 6 p.m.) and many others

  • “Mr. Student Body President” screening with “Adventure Time’s” Jeremy Shada (Saturday, 4 p.m.)

  • Go behind the voices of “Ben-10” and “Naruto:” Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal (Sunday, 11:30 a.m.)

  • Storytelling with groundbreaking storyteller Michael Golden (Saturday, 12:30 p.m.) among dozens of comics-themed sessions

  • Cosplay instruction with Wizard World’s cosplay pro Brit Bliss (Saturday, noon), and Amouranth (Saturday, 1 p.m.)

  • World famous Wizard World Costume Contest for adults (Saturday, 6 p.m., with pre-show concert by Critical Hit) and kids (Sunday, 3 p.m.)

Unless noted, programming events take place in the designated General Programming Rooms at the Austin Convention Center. VIP tickets or additional costs may apply to ensure access to select activities, as noted.
