A lifelong film enthusiast, Barry Monush joined the staff of Screen World in 1988, eventually becoming the editor of this annual publication.
He is also the author of The Encyclopedia of Hollywood Film Actors: From the Silent Era to 1965; Everybody’s Talkin’: The Top Films of 1965-1969; Music on Film: West Side Story; and The Sound of Music FAQ: All That’s Left to Know about Maria, the von Trapps, and Our Favorite Things.
He updated Stanley Green’s Hollywood Musicals: Year by Year, and co-authored (with James Sheridan) Lucille Ball FAQ: Everything Left to Know about America’s Favorite Redhead. Monush is an assistant curator at the Paley Center for Media in New York City.
He lives in Metuchen, New Jersey. His favorite movie is Sunset Blvd.
Brooks T. Moore’s distinctive voice ranges from warm and friendly to serious and convincing. A strong announcer and narrator, his voice is regularly featured on Discovery and National Geographic channel documentaries.
For the last two decades Brooks has worked in all facets of the film and broadcast industry. He has won multiple Emmy, Telly and a Sundace awards. His experience as a director and producer as well as his technical knowledge of video editing and audio mixing contribute to his skills as a voice over artist.
